PATHWAY ONE
Retreats
Natural Paint Making Retreat: France
A 5 day immersive experience in Aveyron, France, held at the historic Château de Balsac.
We spend time working directly with earth pigments in the landscape, learning how to forage natural materials in the surrounding countryside, process them into refined pigments, and create handmade paint in a shared studio environment.
The experience is heavily shaped by place. Alongside studio work, we visit local markets, the Soulages Museum, and nearby villages, allowing the rhythm of the region to inform our process of making.
All materials, food, and studio lessons are included.
PATHWAY TWO
Online Learning
The Pigment Collective: Online Courses
A space for ongoing learning in natural pigment processing and paint making.
Inside The Pigment Collective, you’ll find in depth online courses and guided study designed to support a slower, material based approach to creative practice.
This includes self paced learning as well as more intimate, guided group experiences through virtual gatherings and shared process.
