Exhibited from April through late June at the unparalleled interior design showroom of FIG & OAK in Los Angeles, California, my IN BLOOM Collection will showcase never before seen oil paintings made entirely from locally foraged natural pigments. This Collection was born during a time of uncertainty, instability, and apprehension in my life. Feeling the need for change, I embarked on a journey of self-discovery and sought to create a fulfilling, stable existence for myself. I turned inward, journaling and immersing myself in nature.

Through months of introspection and reflection, I peeled away the emotionally complex layers that surrounded me. Interestingly, as I dug deeper into this process, the fog of intricacies in my painting practice- which I once dominated, began to lift as well. This exhibition is hosted as part of the Salon at FIG & OAK; a series of curated workshops, talks, and activities to rekindle our collective interest in the creative act. Join me on this transformative journey through art, where each colored pigment tells a story of expansion, resilience, and the beauty of rebirth.
